H.E.1 Sir F. Napier Broome having had under consideration your letter of the 25 Ult.2 suggesting that the Governments of this Colony & South Australia should undertake the exploration of the Country North of Lake Amadeus,3 has instructed me to inform you that this Government is not prepared at present to assist in the suggested exploration.
