To Edward Ramsay   19 April 1887

19/4/87

It is not absolutely necessary, dear Dr Ramsay, that printed forms should be used for proposing candidates at the L.S.1 I have no such forms at present. You have now many FLS in N.S.W., and you can always obtain Dr Woolls' signature. But if at any time you wish the addition of my name to the signatures, as that of the now Senior for Australia, it will be gladly given.

Regardfully

your

Ferd von Mueller

I have not yet given up the hope, that through your persevering zeal the fruit and other propagation-organs of the Claudea Bennettiana will be discovered.
