From Joseph Maiden    13 May 1887

13th May [188]71

Dear Baron Mueller,

I have written to the station-holders in the far north west named in the enclosed list requesting their kind offices on behalf of Mr Bauerlen should he visit them in the course of his journeyings.2

I am as anxious as you are to make this trip a complete success, so please do not hesitate to let me know in what further ways I can be of help.

Yours truly,

J. H. Maiden.
