From Ferdinand von Mueller to Alexander Macdonald   11 July 1887

11/7/87

Should you wish to arrange for our quarterly meeting early, dear Mr Macdonald, I will at any time send young Mr French for a day to help you. It would be well, that the paper on the exploration of East Gippsland should soon be read, as otherwise we might be anticipated by the daily journals.1

Regardfully

your

Ferd von Mueller.

See M to A. Macdonald, 26 May 1887. Merrall (1888) was read by the Secretary, Macdonald, at the meeting of the Victorian Branch of the Royal Geographical Society of Australasia held on 9 August 1887 (Argus, 11August 1887, p. 5).
