From Joseph Maiden    12 September 1887

12th Sept: [188]71

Dear Baron Mueller,

Immediately on receipt of your letter of the 8th Inst:2 I wired Mr Bäuerlen to hurry to the north west, and to especially to3 look out for minute annuals and aquatic plants. He will shortly also receive my two letters, all of the same tenor, so that your wishes are communicated to him in a most unmistakeable manner.

I believe I have sent you copies of all my communications to Mr Bäuerlen, I was looking through them today, and they are all in accordance with your wishes.

Yours truly,

J. H. Maiden.
