ROYAL GEOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY OF AUSTRALASIA,

VICTORIAN BRANCH. 1

My dear Baron

I had a long letter from Sir Edwd2 this forenoon but it is impossible for me to read it until I go home this evg3 for my time is so fully occupied

By all means send circulars to the press throughout the Colonies[.]4 I really am not able to render you any assistance for a few days —

I wrote to London for forms of Nomination of Candidates and as soon as I get them will send you a few. Meantime I will sue for Professor Elkington & let you have it during this month].5

Thanks for perusal of Sir Edwards letter to you.

You will be glad to hear that Profr6 Kernot has increased his £30 to £50 for Central African Exploration

Ever yours [sincerely]

C Pasco
