With reference to the meeting to welcome Mr Cuthbertson1 I am desired by His Excellency the Governor2 to ask you if the 11th of November (Friday) would be a suitable date. His Excellency cannot at this distance of time promise definitely but he would be glad to know if that date would suit the Geographical Society.3
