I do myself the honor to forward herewith a copy of a work of mine lately published, entitled The Australian Race &c 3 of which I beg the acceptance of the Royal Geographical Society, Melbourne.

I am encouraged to think the work may be of some interest to the Society at4 it contains a map showing the geographical positions of a large number of Australian tribes, as well as the areas to which certain customs & peculiarities of language are limitted.
