From Ferdinand von Mueller to Francis Barnard   6 Oct 1887

6/10/87.

Any time, convenient to Mr Topp, Mr Le Souef and yourself, dear Mr Barnard, will be to me also right, so long as you will let me know, timely what day and hour you are coming, so that the possibility of my being just then away may be avoided.1

Regardfully your

Ferd von Mueller.

To discuss issues concerned with the proposals to reserve Wilson's Promontory? Topp, Le Soeuf and Barnard were members of the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria active in the attempt to secure reservation of Wilson's Promontory (see Gillbank (1998)). See also M to F. Barnard, 1 September 1887 (in this edition as 87-09-01a).
