From John Duff to Ferdinand von Mueller   [Dec 1887]

[Mr. Duff, of the Forest branch of the Department of Mines,1 has visited the diseased potato fields under instructions from the Government. He has taken samples of plants and tubers, which are being despatched to Baron von Müller for his advice.]
