From Ferdinand von Mueller to A. Callaway   13 Dec 1887

13/12/87

A. Callaway Esqr1

&c &c

In accordance with the request of the honorable A. Deakin, I beg to send a supply of fresh and well-matured seeds of Eucalyptus citriodora, which kind is not easily obtained, as it occurs only at a few localities in N.S.W. and Queensland.2 What I forward is however enough, to raise more than a thousand plants, so that the recipient can very much sub-divide it. In Britain E. citriodora needs Glas-protection.

I have the honor to be your obedient

Ferd. von Mueller.
