The plants, just received from you, dear Mr Gill, are:

Claytonia calyptrata, F.v.Mueller |
6, |
Thysanotus Patersoni, R.Brown |
3, |
Tillaea verticillaris, De Candolle. |
5, |
Senecio odoratus, Hornemann |
4, |
Gnaphalium luteo-album, Linne |

Mitrasacme paradoxa, RBrown. |
I would advise, to send more copious specimens at any future time; as occasionally I would need to dissect them, and should require a fair supply then. Besides, I preserve the specimens from any sender here for record of locality in the bot musuem.
Yours
Ferd. von Mueller
Look well for water plants (floating or submerged) if even quite minute. Novelties may yet be among them and other minute weeds; they are as valuable when in fruit (even if shrivelled,1 as when in flower.
