From Ferdinand von Mueller to Thomas Wilson   22 Dec 1888

22/12/88

This morning, dear Mr. Wilson, I learn from Prof Allen, that already over 400 Doctors have inscribed their names for the Congress,1 so about 450 copies of the "select plants"2 will be required; but they cost (when merely stitched) only 2/ each to the Government.

As it will take some time to write the dedication on behalf of the Government into each copy, I hurry the official letter3 on at once, as you might wish to despatch it as early as possible. With best felicitation at this festive time to you and those dear to you.

Ferd. von Mueller.
