From Ferdinand von Mueller to Alfred Deakin   [Jan 1889]

[Dried plants in vaults of CS office.1 For 2 sets]2

Chief Secretary's. M was presumably requesting sets of his 'educational collection' of plants.

This letter was returned to M on 24 January 1889 minuted: 'send for all copies in this office'. A further minute of 28 January on M to T. Wilson, 19 January 1889, approved M's having the remaining sets in his office, and in M to T. Wilson, 12 February 1889 (in this edition as 89-02-12a), he reported the receipt of the remaining sets.

Letter not found; item is a register entry only, entered on 14 January 1889.
