With this mail, highly esteemed Professor, I venture to send you a collection of Algae and Phytozoa1 that Miss Hodgkinson2 collected at the mouth of the Richmond River in subtropical East Australia at my particular request. Since the locality is little investigated with respect to Algae, this small contribution will certainly be welcome to you for geographical studies of Algae. I have retained nothing.
I would like to ask you to send the Phytozoa to a specialist in Europe as there might be something new among them.
Honouring you, your

My card for the zoologist. I imagine that the things might be welcome to Burgomaster Dr Kirchenpauer in Hamburg.
