Letter not found.

See M to A. Deakin, 30 March 1889.

Estimates written by Georg Luehmann and signed throughout by M. There are two copies of the estimates in the file, the second copy does not bear the annotations that were presumably made a the Chief Secretary's Office.

Mr Luehmann added, presumably at the Chief Secretary's Office.

Mr French added, presumably at the Chief Secretary's Office. The salary conforms that this is Charles French Snr, here and below, n. 11.

This figure has been entered on the wrong line: it should be one line higher, since it represents Luehmann's salary in 1888-9.

MS annotation by Luehmann, with its intended position marked with an asterisk: 'With quarters (one room), fuel light and water.' G. Renner added, presumably at the Chief Secretary's Office, and with an arrow going to 177.

Mr Minchin added, presumably at the Chief Secretary's Office.

Mr French Jun added, presumably at the Chief Secretary's Office. Charles H. French, here and below, n. 13.

Mr French added, presumably at the Chief Secretary's Office.

Mr Minchin added, presumably at the Chief Secretary's Office.

Mr French Jun added, presumably at the Chief Secretary's Office.

A typed copy of this letter was prepared at the Chief Secretary's Office and filed separately without the attached estimates (N89/5953, unit 431, VPRS 3992/P, Public Record Office, Victoria).
