From Ferdinand von Mueller to Otto Tepper   23 Apr 1889

Lieber Freund

Dear Friend

During the Easter days I have worked through the Gompholobiums accumulated since 1864 and now find that your No. 62 is G. minus (from corolla).1 In 1847 I saw a Gompholobium with prostrate stem and large flowers near Adelaide. The petals were sometimes yellowish, sometimes reddish, which is unusual in this genus. Have you also observations on it? The plant is said to be poisonous for cattle.

Friendly greetings

Ferd. von Mueller.

Gompholobium minus
