To William Thiselton-Dyer   30 June 1889

30/6/89.1

A new industry has here sprung up, dear Mr Dyer, in baskets being made from the thinly split wood of Acacia dealbata. I will at once send you samples for your grand Museum.2

Regardfully

your

Ferd. von Mueller.

You know, A. dealbata can be reared in the mild parts of England.
