From Ferdinand von Mueller to James Hector   3 July 1889

3/7/89

By post I send you, dear Sir James, some miscellaneous seeds, some of which may prove acceptable for your botanic Garden. Could you oblige by letting me have, as easy occasions arise, fresh seeds successively of your rarer Pittosporums and Veronicas, or other such kinds as easily germinate and fairly well retain their power of germination for some time.

Regardfully

your

Ferd. von Mueller

Pittosporum

Veronica
