From Henry Deane to Ferdinand von Mueller   19 Sep 1889

Gladesville1 19 Sept /89

Baron F. von Mueller KCMG FRS &c &c

My dear Sir,

I send you in another packet some specimens of an Angophora from Narrabri;2 it is remarkable for the flattened petioles and the hairy young shoots and calyces. It is very different in growth from A. intermedia which is abundant in that district and is easily distinguished even at a distance. It is not A. subvelutina, which has sessile leaves. I shall be glad of your opinion.

Believe me,

Yours very faithfully

H Deane
