The Menkea, dear Prof. Tate, I have carefully compared, and find it absolutely identical with M. sphaerocarpa. The discrepancies from the descriptions simply arise from the plant, got a Mt Olga,1 being more advanced towards ripening its fruits, when the style somewhat elongates.
Regardfully

Ferd. von Mueller.
The Hakea is = H. purpurea Hooker var. simplicifolia.2 While in H. lorea the simple-leaved form is the prevailing, in H. purpurea the one with dichotomously divided leaves is the more frequent form.
Nothing can be done with the flowerless and fruitless Eucalyptus. It may be, as sent, only the young state of a narrow-leaved species. It is not E. pulverulenta
Eucalyptus pulverulenta
