From James Turner to Ferdinand von Mueller   27 Dec 1889

Armidale

NSW. Decr. 27 89.

My dear Baron von Mueller.

The enclosed is the only plant which I found about the 'Falls' some 12 miles out of Armidale 'Dangan Falls' yesterday at a Picnic calling for any attention, I suppose it to be either a Datura or 'Nicotiana.' it is very viscous. I do not think that I ever saw a place where 'Erythraea Australensis'1 is so frequent —

Yrs truly

Jas F Turner

Bp of Gn & A.2

Datura

Erythraea Australensis

Nicotiana

Erythraea australis?

Bishop of Grafton and Armidale.

Ms found with a specimen of Nicotiana suaveolens (MEL 2234672).
