Endlich, verehrter Freund, ist ein Packet getrockneter, austral Pflanzen für Kopenhagen fertig geworden, u. es wird nun an Sie expedirt. Es sind etwa 350 Arten; mehr kann folgen, wenn neues Material zur Vertheilung kommt.
Es ist mir nicht recht klar, wie die Herbarien-Verhältnisse gestaltet sind in Ihrer Königsstadt. Es ist ja aber da eine bot. Gesellschaft u. ein bot. Tauschverein, so dass es wohl möglich sein würde, Cryptogamen im Austausch zu erhalten, namentlich die seltneren Lichenen u. Diatomeae

At last, honoured Friend, a parcel of dried Australian plants has been completed for Copenhagen, and it is now sent to you. There are about 350 species; more can follow, when new material comes for distribution.
It is not clear to me how the herbarium relationships are arranged in your royal city. There is there, however, a botanical society and a botanical exchange club, so that it would probably be possible to get Cryptogams in exchange, especially the rarer lichens and diatoms.
