The date has not been filled in; the details were completed by M, with other supporters autograph signatures. The date assigned, the earliest it is likely to have been sent, is estimated from the date of the formal proposal; compare nomination certificate for J. J. Foster, 3 July 1890. Given the summer recess, this nomination for Milroy could have been sent at any time between July and September 1890. M's letter to the Secretary of the Royal Geographical Society, 24 July 1890 (in this edition as 90-07-24a) suggests that the form had been sent by then.
M was also the nominator on an earlier certificate for Milroy (in this edition as 90-03-31).
Wm Potter deleted before C E Peek. Potter had been removed from the Fellowship during 1890: see entry on his certificate of candidature, 4 September 1878 (in this edition as 78-09-04).
