From William Woolls to Ferdinand von Mueller   7 July 1890

Burwood1

July 7 /90

My dear Baron,

Sloanea Woollsii (distinguished from the other species by its 2 valved capsule) was sent to me by Mr. A. Rudder from Booral.2 It belongs to the Northern Districts of N.S.W. & the Southern Ranges of Queensland. Mr. Rudder describes it as a splendid tree from upland ranges.

I am not quite so well again. The weather is very trying.

Yours very Sincerely

W. Woolls

Mr. Rudder is a very meritorious man. I hope Mr Brown will appreciate his zeal.3
