[Letter from Baron Mueller stating that he had been able to determine a plant new to Tasmania of the genus Thismia discovered by Mr Leonard Rodway & regretting his paper would not be ready for the last meeting of the session but suggesting if possible to have the paper printed in the 1890 Proceedings.1]
The minute continues: ‘the Secretary was instructed to have the paper printed & embodied in the 1890 Proceedings’. In accordance with these instructions, the paper was included in the 1890 volume of the Society's Papers and proceedings; see B91.06.03.
Letter not found. Item is an entry in a minute book, recording the reading of M's letter at a meeting of the Council of the Royal Society of Tasmania held on 2 December 1890. The letter is dated, accordingly, to late November 1890, to allow time for it to get from Melbourne to Hobart.
