It is very pleasing to me, dear Dr Britton, that you think so well of the Census of Austral. plants;1 with this mail I beg to send you the Key to the system of Vict, pl.,2 in which I have likewise employed the simplified Juss—D.C. system, and also reduced the phytographic terms.3
It is very kind of you to send me what you have of RBr's Austral. specimens. Though I have many authentic specimens of his,4 here we can never have too much from his hands. I will make a good return sending of Austral specimens named. If I can be of any utility to you here, then command unhesitatingly my services.
Regardfully your
Ferd. von Mueller

Joseph Hooker had sent five cases of specimens collected by Robert Brown (1773-1858) to M, selected from those received by Kew from the British Museum; see M to J. Hooker, 29 May 1882.
