From Ferdinand von Mueller to Ebenezer Thomas   25 Nov 1890

25/11/90

Allow me to say, dear Mr Thomas, that the quarto-work on the Salsolaceous plants1 is now ready as far as to the sixth decade inclusive, so that it would be desirable, to send it out soon through the public Library. Will you with your usual attentiveness place the list of proposed recipients2 before the Prime Minister for his views on the subject.3

Regardfully your

Ferd. von Mueller.

B89.13.04 and B90.13.14.

See M to T. Wilson, 16 September 1890.

Thomas, as Secretary to the Premier, referred this to Thomas Bride, Librarian of the Public Library, who replied on 7 May 1891 that 'the works have been distributed' according to the list of recipients given to him.
