From Ferdinand von Mueller to Joseph Bradshaw   29 Nov 1890

29/11/90.

The various kinds of poison-bushes of W.A., dear Mr Bradshaw, are well known to me since the last 40 years, so also those mentioned by you; they are nearly all species of Gastrolobium, few only belong to the genus Oxylobium

When your party proceeds to Prince Regent's River,1 I should like to see one of the members, to arrange, that specimens of plants be gathered, and I would gladly provide paper and envelopes for the purpose. You would obtain full public credit for this.2 It will not take up much time, nor will it give particular trouble.

Regardfully

your

Ferd. von Mueller.

Gastrolobium

Oxylobium

Prince Regent River, WA.

See B92.05.04 for M's description of the specimens collected during this expedition.
