[Baron von Mueller always keeps a kindly eye upon Mildura. By a recent post he sent us a collection of seeds of American and other vines, some of which are famed for their phylloxera resistant properties. They include the Vitis rupestris, V. Cordifolia—rupestris,1 V. Cinerea, V. Aestricalis-cordifolia-rupestris,2 V. Malbec-Berlandieri,3 V. riparia, V. Cordifolia, and V. berlandieri, the Texan grape. We shall be glad to distribute the seeds among those who will undertake to look properly after them, and as the Baron advises that they should be sown at once, call early if you want them.]

Not in IPNI (accessed 29 August 2025), although V. berlandieri is; nor with this name in either B91.09.01or B95.08.04, although in the latter there is an entry for V. Berlandieri, where it is described as from Texas and New Mexico.
