Sehr dankbar bin ich Ihnen, lieber Herr Tepper u so auch besonders diesmal Ihrem jungen Sohne für das Senden der Adansonia-Früchte. Solche kommen eben jetz sehr gelegen. Es sind schöne Exemplare. Was kann ich dem jungen Beamten in retour senden?

Ich bin noch sehr bedrückt mit rückständigen Arbeiten, welche sich während Jannuar ansammelten. So muss ich mich kurz fassen.

I am very grateful to you, dear Mr Tepper, and so also particularly this time to your young son for the consignment of the Adansonia fruits.1 They come just now at the right time. They are fine specimens. What can I send the young official in return?

I am still very burdened with overdue work that accumulated during January. So I must be brief.
