To judge alone from the fruits and buds, dear Mr Gill, I should consider your Eucalyptus from Kangaroo-Island1 to be a large form of E. cosmophylla. I notices2 also the Cassinia to spring up after fire. The erect Adenanthos is A. sericca, the prostrate one A terminalis. Whether you have a third in S.A., always white-flowered, needs yet to be ascertained from a good set of specimens. I should like very much, to clear up this question.
On the Melaleuca no safe opinion can be given, til you happen to find it in flower, or perhaps a local resident could send them
With regardful remembrance
