No Gill specimens numbered 229 or 234 are listed for MEL in AVH (accessed 19 February 2022). The others were collected in the south-east of SA on 9 and 12 October 1891. It is just possible that M could have received these specimens and commented upon them during October, but if they were not sent until Gill returned to Adelaide it is more likely that they were reported on in November, and the list is dated accordingly.
