From J. Bracebridge Wilson to Ferdinand von Mueller   [Dec 1891]

[I duly presented myself at the residence of the famous Baron von Mueller, armed with a letter of introduction from his friend Bracebridge Wilson.1]

Bracebridge Wilson, uncle of H. Montague R. Rupp, was Headmaster of Geelong Grammar School.

Letter not found. The text given here is from Rupp (1992), p. 107. Rupp left Geelong Grammar school at the end of 1891 and began his studies at the University pf Melbourne in 1892. The letter is dated to December 1891 as the most likely date it would have been given to him; see Gilbert (1992), p. 37.
