I have succeeded, dear Dr Dyer, to obtain of the 6th edit (1885) yet a copy — "Select plants", — as desired by Mr Hemsley's recent memorandum.2 I obtained it from a private friend3 in exchange for an impression of the 8th edition,4 and now send it by this mail.
