From William Elliott to Ferdinand von Mueller   25 Nov 1892

The Leader Office

MELBOURNE 25 Novr 1892

My dear Baron

The enclosed grass is from Donald,1 and the sender asks: What are its qualities? Is it a desirable grass, or is it one to be avoided? It seeds most prolifically, but has very little flag, so he does not know how it would do for a feed grass.

Faithfully yours

W. Elliott

Vic.

MS found with a specimen of Bromus alopecuros (MEL 2128623). MS annotation by M: 'N.SW'.
