From Ferdinand von Mueller to Leonard Rodway   22 Dec 1892

22/12/92

The Coprosma, sent by you, dear Mr Rodway,1 is C. Petriei, Cheeseman, which I showed some time ago from specimens, sent by Mr T. B. Moore from Mt Tyndall,2 to extend from N.Z. to Tasmania.3 It is one of the very few blue-fruited species of this genus; and your observations on the bisexuality of the flowers prove furthermore the correctness of my view in uniting Nertera with Coprosma into one genus.4

With best festive salutation your

Ferd. von Mueller

Have you lately heard from Mr Moore and Mr Fitzgerald? I have not5.
