From A. Merton   1893

[1893]1

Dear Sir Ferdinand —

by this mail I enclose a few small specimens including one from my beautiful "Leptospermum wooroonooran" the glorious dome topped tree from the summit of Bellenden-Ker.2 With the exception of one other specimen all the rest are from the far north west. They are strangers to me (botanically)[.]3 I shall send you some more next week & shall also get the blacks to collect some for you on the outer coast of Stradbroke Island4

With best wishes & kind remembrance

Sincerely yours

Merton
