From William Fitzgerald to Ferdinand von Mueller   26 Feb 1893

St Helens1

Feb. 26th 1893

Honoured Sir

Some time back I forwarded to you specimens of a Senecio but having heard nothing of it I am of opinion it has miscarried. I am very anxious to it identified. Is it anywhere in the vicinity of S. brachyglossus F.v.M.? The other plant is a specimen of Spyridium from the Douglas River. Is it S. Gunnii. B.2 I obtained it during my trip via Swan Port. Trusting the enclosed sp. will come to hand recognisable. I remain your faithfully

Wm. V. Fitzgerald
