From Margaret Ward-Cole to Ferdinand von Mueller   21 Apr 1893

St Ninians Bay St

Brighton.1

April 21st/93.

My dear Baron,

If you can write a letter to us, expressing what you think of the value of Miss Anna F. Walkers Collection of Plants, &c &c as an aid to Botany &c &c. We Should be very much pleased — as she is most anxious if She could dispose of them, if not now at Some future time. I may mention that Miss Walker knows nothing of our intentions of asking you to do this kindness for her.

As you know it is the result of Thirty years hard work, and I have been very much pleased to hear you expressing to her, your great appreciation of her labours.2

With my Mothers & sisters, & my kind regards

I am.

Yours sincerely.

Margaret M. Ward-Cole.

Vic.
