The map was published as part of the report of the expedition. Although the map is attributed to David Lindsay (Lindsay [1893]), the geological legend is signed ‘Victor Streich | Geologist to the Expedition’ ( http://nla.gov.au/nla.map-nk10299-4, viewed 6 September 2004). For meteorology, see Streich (1892).
The space for ‘residence’ is filled by the note of description, in M’s hand.
M signed between the spaces set out on the certificate.
Annotated : Never Qualified, i.e. did not pay the required fees. But see his re-nomination on 16 February 1895 (in this edition as 95-02-16).
