From Ferdinand von Mueller to Thomas Bride   11 Aug 1893

11/8/93.

I am almost ashamed to write these lines to you, dear Dr Bride, but would venture to ask, whether the small amount for the Columbus-publication will be possibly soon available; but — pray — do not go about this to any inconvenience. A variety of expenses for books and other science-material is just coming on me, so that any little amount will help to clear off current accounts.1

Regardfully always

your

Ferd. von Mueller.
