From Ferdinand von Mueller to Herbert Williamson   1 Nov 1893

1/11/93

You shall have every encouragement in your study of the native plants, dear Mr Williamson, and they will much contribute to genuine and lasting pleasures of your life.1 The label was merely sent to show you, how any specimens from you will be treated here.

Please look carefully on all floating and submerged weeds of your locality, as aquatic plants received less attention than land plants in Victorian searches.

Regardfully your

Ferd. von Mueller.

See M to H. Williamson, 31 August 1893.
