From Frederick Bailey   18 December 1893

December 18 [189]31

Dear Baron

As in the absence of the literature upon the New Guinea Flora I am unable to work satisfactory upon the flora of that country I would be glad of information as to whether the enclosed is a named species or not. Plants of it frequently flower in our gardens. And are said to have been secured from N Guinea —

Yours very truly

F. M. Bailey
