This number is used twice in the Hussey collection at MEL, for Pimelea octophylla and Posidonia sinuosa, each dated 1894.
This number is well beyond the range covered in the present list; it may be a mis-transcription.
The same number is used in M to J. Hussey, November 1894 (in this edition as 94-11-00d) without a suggested name but the comment, 'I do not remember to have seen this before. Have you a little more in flower and fruit for anatomic dissection.' The record for Pseudanthus micranthus, the only specimen with that Hussey number (MEL 107290), is dated 1894 and has the comment 'with flowers', suggesting that the same number was used at the later date to supply a specimen with flowers.
H. semipapposum? The transcription indicates that the name was first attributed to 'Labillard.' before being corrected.
This number is not in Hussey MEL collection.
Enchylaena? This number is not in Hussey MEL collection.

The number is used in Hussey MEL collection for Rhagodia candolleana, of which R. billardieri is not a synonym, but has pro parte been misapplied to R. candolleana (APNI, accessed 12 September 2024).
The number is used twice in the Hussey collection: Ozothamnus turbinatus, of which Helichrysum cinereum is a synonym, dated 1894, and the alga Nizymenia australis, undated.

The number is used twice in the Hussey collection, for Banksia marginata, dated 1894, and the alga Lophurella periclados, undated.

Transcriber's error for 'you'?
Hussey joined the Field Naturalists section of the Royal Society of South Australia and developed a correspondence with local and European botanical enthusiasts and experts (Kraehenbuehl (1981a), Maroske & Vaughan (2014)).
Item is a typescript, transcriber unknown, prepared ca. 1977 from an original MS in the State Library of South Australia, Adelaide.
Several numbers are not in the Hussey collection at MEL (AVH, accessed 4 August 2024) and several numbers are used twice. AVH specimens listed under M's names, and those for which his names are synonyms, are shown as collected in 1894 (names checked in APC, accessed 17 August 2024). The list is probably the first set of determinations sent in 1884, as its sequence of numbers follows on from that in M to J. Hussey, November 1893 (in this edition as 93-11-00l). It was written before M to J. Hussey, May 1894 (in this edition as 94-05-00b), but it cannot be more precisely dated.
