From Ferdinand von Mueller to the Leader   2 Feb 1894

[SPECIMEN OF PLANT.—A.L., Borung.—The herb sent from Borung, Baron von Mueller informs us, is immigrated from Europe, where it is not rare, particularly in the milder regions. Its botanic name is Chenopodium murale. It is quite harmless, and pasture animals like to bite a little of it, while small birds and even fowls pick the seed. It is of short duration, but of easy dissemination.]
