From Ferdinand von Mueller to Herbert Williamson   18 May 1894

18/5/94

The little orchid, just sent by you, dear Mr Williamson, is Acianthus exsertus R. Br. The Amarantus retroflexus1 should not be encouraged by sowing, as it may become a troublesome weed.

Best thanks for the seaweeds; new lot.

Are you fully provided with rural seeds for local experiments, or do you wish a new supply. Half of each might now be sown, half in September.

Regardfully your

Ferd. von Mueller.
