Mit dieser Wochen-Post, hochgeehrter Herr Professor, sende ich eine Art Duplicat-Brief zu dem, welchen ich an Sie mit voriger Post schrieb, und sende nun noch einige andere Algen, auch eine Liste von Phanerogamen der Umgegend von der Stadt Geelong, als von Mr J. Bracebridge Wilson ausgearbeitet. Ich bat Sie bereits diesen ausgezeichneten Mann zum correspondirenden Mitglied Ihrer hochberühmten botan Gesellschaft zu erwählen, denn er würde sich wie Hr. Holtze dafür gewiss sehr dankbar erweisen durch Beiträge zu dem Herbarium Ihrer Gesellschaft.

By this week's post, highly esteemed Professor, I am sending you a kind of duplicate letter to that which I wrote to you with the previous post,1 and now send some more algae, also a list of Phanerogams of the region of the city of Geelong as drawn up by Mr J. Bracebridge Wilson. I have already asked you to elect this excellent man as a corresponding member of your very famous society,2 because he certainly would, like Mr Holtze, prove himself very grateful by contributions to the herbarium of your society.
