Dear Baron
Yours of the 27th ult2 came duly to hand.
Mr L. Rodway has done nothing with the Centrolepis.
In one of my letters to you I suggested your naming it if it proved new and as you were evidently pushed for time the probability of getting Mr Rodway to describe it. There is therefor no danger of your observations clashing with that gentleman's.
I have sent per this mail several spmens3 of Leptospermum. I am rather puzzled with the two forms having pungent leaves. Are they not varieties of L. lanigerum, Sm. The other two specimens I believe to be forms of L. myrtifolium, Sieb.
Thanking you in anticipation believe me to be
Yours faithfully
