MEMO . from the CURATOR to

19th Sept: 1894

Dear Baron von Mueller,

I send you the Olearia or Aster which I believe to be new, and which bears a strong superficial resemblance to O. erubescens. You will however notice that it has strictly opposite leaves.2

I enclose my descriptive notes3 of the plant & shall be glad to learn if you agree with me that it is a new species.

Yours Sincerely,

J. H. Maiden.

Aster
